Why are people so surprised that their leaders in our Govenment are so disigenuous
Politicians for centuries have have abused their power and votes to benif the donors who by their large wallets keep these scoundrels in power....
Every election over ninety percent of incumbents are returned to office , mainly because opponents are so badly financed they have little chance of making themseleves heard above the sound of the " cash register " ringing in the incumbents office.
Perhaps it is time as Oliver Cromwell stated to the British Parliament.
